Kubota Improves L & BX-1 Series Tractors September, 2014 Compact & Utility Tractor Newsletter
|
This month, we're taking a look at Kubota's latest updates to their popular L Series and BX Series tractors. Although both the L and BX Series tractors have been segment leaders for years Kubota continues to improve these tractors. This year, Kubota has made notable improvements in power, fuel & emission efficiency, and operator comfort. The BX-1 Series is an ideal tractor for seasonal jobs and projects around the home and estate, while the L Series offers standard-sized compact tractors---great for larger tasks and projects. Here's a little more about the new features of each series:
BX70-1 Series
The BX70-1 Series includes the BX1870-1, BX2370-1, BX2670-1, and BX25D-1 models. All models include 3-cylinder Kubota diesel engines, ranging in horsepower from 18-25.5. Kubota made improvements to the ergonomics of the BX-1 Series tractor, focusing in particular on a new fully flat deck layout with left-side brake pedal to allow for more room for the feet. The BX70-1 series also features a new instrument cluster and new steering wheel position. Additionally, Kubota boosted power on the new BX2670-1 with a new Final Tier 4, non-DPF 25.5 hp diesel engine. Click here for full details on the BX-1 line: More info.
Standard L Series
The L Series has upgraded to new, more powerful, and more efficient engines. Consisting of the L3301, the L3901, and the L4701, the L Series is packed with the reliability you need to get all your projects done, while also meeting Tier 4 Final emission requirements. On top of that, Kubota has added a new and improved comfort seat and a new dash panel. The dash panel features large guages and a digital LCD panel as well as new error indicators. The comfort seat is ergonomically designed to reduce fatigue on long days, and a newly added drain hole keeps water from collecting on your seat.
